Information:  Alpha Tau Mu Co-ed Fraternity is a fairly new organization founded by six ambitious young students of Tuskegee University. The idea behind this fraternity was that they wanted to be different from the other organizations. It seemed that in order to be a part of a fraternity, sorority, or any other group/club, one would have to fit a mold. The founders agreed that nobody can perfectly fit a mold created by these groups, so they created their own organization. Founded on September 2, 2009 on the pillars of Academics, Service, and Unity, the six founders created the first Co-ed fraternity on Tuskegee Campus. There is no discrimination of race, sex, religion, gender, or creed. Alpha Tau Mu, also known as ATM, believes in celebrating the diversity of its members by using their unique talents to help better serve the community and improve the organization. Although still new, ATM is looking to expand and bring this service based, family oriented fraternity to other colleges and universities across America.
