Spotlight Story - "Anubis" Jacket

The Dream

As difficult as it can be to create the perfect jacket for yourself, it's even more ambitious to do so for another. Be that as it may, this is the challenge Teja was more than happy to take on for her beloved brother. She wanted a one-of-a-kind piece of art that would bring him all the recognition and admiration he deserved. That was the mission. Teja remembered the simplicity of the process when she ordered from S4G some year back. She turned to us once again to make magic happen for her brother.

The Design

Teja's main priority was to design a jacket that was a spot on representation of her brother. She found inspiration in an almighty Egyptian god.

Teja says "The art I selected seemed most fitting for my brother's line name and ship name. The intensity of the Anubis image depicts what I've seen his confidence grow into."

This well known protector and lord of the underworld is usually depicted as a strapping and powerful man with a canine head. Teja was careful to chose an image that fully captured Anubis in all his godly glory.

The Delivery

The end result was an embroidered masterpiece for Teja's brother.

Teja says: "Everyone loves his jacket. From Greeks to non-Greeks."
