The Dream

From the very beginning, Jamilah's jacket was more than just a jacket! First and foremost, this surprise gift was meant to be a token of affection from Aisha and Jamilah's mom, Monica. Perhaps that's why the pair literally thought of everything and it shows. They covered almost every area of Jamilah's jacket! It's a true fully-loaded masterpiece...alternative font choices, deck-out text, personalized crest, alternating icons, custom artwork, embellished sleeves, and even monogrammed wrists. Aisha and Monica worked hard to make each area outstandingly significant.

The Design

A lot of different aspects played into the design of Jamilah's line jacket. There was her personality, line name, chapter, organization, journey, and legacy all to consider. Even with a fierce photo in hand, tailoring a design perfectly suited for Jamilah was a huge challenge. However, Aisha and Monica were more than ready to take it on.

Aisha said "We chose S4G because we KNEW from my [past] experience that [Jamilah] was going to receive the best quality product, hands DOWN. When it was decided that a jacket was going to be purchased for Jamilah, it was a no-brainer to choose S4G to help us bring our vision to life, which is exactly what they did! There is a lot of detail and symbolism with this design and it was important to get it just right."

The Delivery

It took nearly two months, but in the end, Aisha and Monica were able to show Jamilah just how much they cared.

Aisha says "When Jamilah opened the box, she was ECSTATIC! Needless to say she was more than satisfied and so were we. All of us were astounded at the detail and precision of the artwork."
