The Dream
A rite of passage of becoming a member of a Greek letter organization is proudly wearing a line jacket. In an effort to find the right company to design his jacket, Chandler spent many hours of research looking at various companies that made line jackets. When asked how our friend Chandler landed on us, he started by saying,"Stuff 4 Greeks caught my eye."
The ProDEUCER continued by saying, "The jackets posted on this website appeared to be of a good quality and the designs shown were very creative. One of the statements from this company was “You dream it. We design it.” So I decided to challenge the company with making my line jacket. The jacket started with my dream being roughly sketched on a sheet of paper. I took the sketch to a representative of the company and he said they would make my dream come true." People did not start calling this place "The Dream Factory" for no reason!
The Design
The “ProDEUCEr” jacket is the product of joining two executed lifelong dreams: becoming an accomplished violinist and a member of my fraternity. The design is symbolic of many facets of my journey, including me playing “Zoom-Zoom” on my violin during my probate. The joining of the two faces make a violin with four gold strings and the bridge being the nose of the faces. The scroll of the violin is a snake to represent the headdress of the sphinx. The other parts of the violin are also represented such as the chin rest, F-holes, tuning pegs, fine tuners and tail piece as the sphinx’s’ plaited beard. Behind the number two is the bow of the violin. Being the singer of my line and an instrumental music performance major, I was given my name for being creative, having natural musicianship, and my on the spot artistic expression. for that reason "The proDEUCEr" is proudly displayed across the top of the jacket. Everything in the design has
the theme of two like my line number. Two tone, two faces,“Two Cold” and “Deuces.” Check out some of our other artwork in our design library.
The bottom of the jacket has a music staff with the “cut time” signature which is 2/2.Each of my
line brothers are represented by the number of notes on the staff. Even though every note looks different it has the same beat value. Together we make The Five Spartans of an ENDestructible Dynasty. The scattered notes on the jacket represent the praise that my fraternity receives on a daily basis and the scattered rests represent the secrecy and discretion of my organization.
The Delivery
When we asked Chandler how he felt about the outcome of his jacket he said, "I have had many compliments on my jacket and continue to get them each time I wear it. I am very pleased with the workmanship that was put into my jacket, every detail was exactly as I requested. The jacket is worth the time and money spent. Thank you Stuff 4 Greeks.
