Some jackets are remembered for how they look. Others are remembered for what they carry.
Samuel’s line jacket holds two cities, a personal journey, and the responsibility of representation—all stitched into one unmistakable piece.
The Dream: A Jacket That Defines the Journey
From the beginning, Samuel wanted his line jacket to define him—not just visually, but personally.
As a radio producer and on-air personality from Kokomo, Indiana now living in Atlanta, his life has been shaped by movement and growth. His journey into Iota Phi Theta Fraternity, Inc., Alpha Alpha Omega Alumni Chapter added another layer of meaning—one rooted in responsibility, representation, and purpose.

His vision was simple and powerful: “Man of Two Cities.”
The Indianapolis and Atlanta skylines sit together on the jacket, symbolizing where he comes from, where he is now, and the path that connects both.
The Design: A True One-of-One Custom Line Jacket
Samuel knew he didn’t want to be a copy.
“I didn’t want people guessing who it was. I wanted them to know it was truly a 1 of 1, an original.”

Instead of DJ silhouettes, he chose to feature a photo of himself—an intentional decision to represent authenticity. The design also includes a custom sleeve inspired by the Circle City Centaur, adapted through the Triple C’s logo, tying his Indianapolis roots directly into the jacket.
Every detail was layered with purpose. Through collaboration with the Stuff4GREEKS team, Samuel’s ideas were refined and elevated, resulting in a custom fraternity jacket that feels cohesive, personal, and unmistakably his.
More Than a Jacket Experience
Samuel’s jacket began as a birthday gift, but the experience quickly became something deeper.
From his first visit, he knew he was in the right place—because of the creative freedom, the willingness to build custom elements, and the environment itself.
“What I think is not talked about enough is the family environment you walk into.”
Receiving his jacket on Founders’ Day made the experience even more meaningful. The attention to timing, the care throughout the process, and the people behind the scenes mattered. Meeting the owner’s mother and working closely with Monica reinforced that this wasn’t just a transaction—it was a relationship built on trust and respect.
The Reaction: Representation in Every Room
“I always get asked, ‘Who did your jacket?'”
The jacket has become an instant conversation starter—especially during Samuel’s neo season. In D9 spaces, being an Iota often draws attention, and with that comes responsibility.

“Being D9 isn’t just an honor, it’s a responsibility to represent in the communities I serve.”
The intricate detail and craftsmanship reflect the standards Samuel holds for himself and his fraternity. For many, his jacket is their first introduction to an Iota. For others, it’s a reminder of what intentional design and meaningful representation can look like.
His jacket doesn’t just tell his story—it carries it—across Atlanta and Indianapolis, across communities, and into every space he enters.
